About Us

Heidi January and Aisha Said, the founders of Heidi January & Aisha Said Physiotherapists Inc., embarked on their professional journey after graduating from the University of the Western Cape with B.Sc degrees in Physiotherapy. Their paths converged in the early 2000s at the Christian Barnard Memorial Hospital, where they began their impactful work in the Adult and Paediatric ICU wards.

In this challenging environment, Heidi and Aisha honed their expertise in Chest Physiotherapy, dedicating themselves to the care of critically ill patients. This experience not only deepened their understanding of the field but also ignited a passion for Pulmonary Rehabilitation, particularly for those battling acute illnesses.

As time progressed, Heidi and Aisha recognised an emerging need beyond the hospital setting — the community’s need for accessible outpatient chest physiotherapy services. This realisation marked a significant expansion of their professional scope, extending their expertise and compassionate care to a broader audience.

At the heart of the practice is a commitment to holistic patient care. Both Heidi and Aisha are deeply passionate about treating individuals with acute and chronic lung conditions, going beyond traditional approaches.
